The Owners
The Faces Behind The Marshmellow Food Truck
La Guimauverie was founded by husband and wife duo, Melanie and Robert. The couple has always shared a love for the outdoors and creating delicious meals around the campfire. After countless camping trips and experimenting with different ingredients, they discovered their passion for making a variety of campfire delights. They saw a gap in the market for gourmet marshmallow desserts that catered specifically to campers and outdoor enthusiasts year-round, and this is how La Guimauverie was born.
Melanie and Robert are dedicated to bringing their customers the highest quality treats using the freshest ingredients available. They believe that food should not only be delicious, but also bring people together and create lasting memories. They take pride in personally crafting each marshmallow dessert, and it’s not uncommon to find them chatting with customers and sharing stories about their own camping adventures. Their warm and friendly personalities, combined with their love for marshmallows, make La Guimauverie a unique and enjoyable experience for everyone who visits.

I’ve tasted almost every treat on the menu by now and they have all been delicious. My personal favourite is the Banana Crunch and Apple Pie. The owners are always very friendly as an added bonus and make for a fun family snack option.
